A Brief Hiatus

I am taking the week off from photos. I have tons of work to get done at our store this week before the girl and I head to The Bamboozle on Friday.

I'll be back, with photos, next week. And in the mean time, I'll be looking at everyone's photos, even if not commenting.

*sniff*

I heart you guys.

I live without envy

With a few flowers in my garden,
half a dozen pictures
and some books,

I live without envy.

Shocking!

The two yoda's are plotting to take over the world.

The two chewbacca's are making out.

And the lady bug has fallen over from too much to drink.

Extra: for Sandie

Sandie had to say goodbye to Coco today. I know how hard that can be and how sad she is.

I took these shots of her old man when I visited in early March. He was quite patient, indulging my extended photo shoot.

He's so handsome. And he's just got the kindest eyes.

Downtown

My girl and I took in a concert last night. These pictures are from the area surrounding the 9:30 Club. Music was loud and awesome and palpable. (Link to the girl's pic and vid.)

Lineup:

Steel Train
Four Years Strong
Bayside
The Starting Line

I already liked The Starting Line and Steel Train is now a new fave. It's terribly fun to experience life through the eyes and ears of an almost fourteen year old.

Meet Spike

When I was a kid I was fascinated with these things. So, I keep Spike in the desk drawer to remind me of the happy parts of my childhood.

These are some of my first few shots with it. And I was back out early this morning shooting like crazy. Awesome. (Thank you, Boogieman!)
