Through the looking glass

This creation belongs to the girl. I have been down with a stomach bug and the daffodil shot, taken two mornings ago, is the last I remember of my camera. I'm better, sipping ginger ale, and hope to be taking pictures again soon.

After being sick, I always feel so grateful when I finally feel better and life just returns to my own daily normal.

A Smattering of Color

I went looking for some color yesterday, feeling the fatigue of the neutrality in the wintery outdoors, and I found some. I was just goofing around shooting the nail polish on the kitchen counter and really liked how the yellow wall and shallow DOF of the counter's edge turned out. Sometimes I just like to be a little abstract. :)
