When I was a kid I was fascinated with these things. So, I keep Spike in the desk drawer to remind me of the happy parts of my childhood.

I love Spike.
never thought of giving those things a name. we use to have them in my yard when i was a kid. they were quite a nuisance!
gorgeous..lovely and lyrical with that twirly stem and like spike is standing on tiptoe.
