See, that's one of the great things about photography. Like YT, I was wondering what the surface was and what it would be like to run my fingers over it to know what it feels like. Intriguing shot.
It's the top of the counter/filing cabinet in our store. It's got a textured surface -- not sure how to describe it. And it's a putty color, but the camera captured flourescent and lamplight in such an interesting way. That's what I liked about it.
You did such a good job with differentiating the color in this simple photo. The title is perfect as it conveys an irony with the idea of money being liberty, but also GW. Good work.

Cool shot. What's the surface?

I love how you make something so ordinary seem special :)
Then contrast with the penny in the centre is wonderful.
It was the color and texture of the counter that I just got lost in. The quarter is interesting as a study in micro stuff, but I love the background.

Glad you continue to post photos.
