Bare

All I shot yesterday was the beginnings of this Amperdoodle. But I quite like this one in its early state, with only minimal post-processing.

quite like?
that is all?
not adore it's lacy starkness?
not be caught by it's curviness and the fringey shadows?
because I adore and am caught by it - just like this - simple and intricate.

Gawdess, how you make me smile by arresting me in my jaded state.

But of course I adore. In your honor I shall not touch this image further! I shall not give in to the temptation to tart her up like a whore. But rather leave her in her unvarnished, and intricate, beauty.

The image is great, the conversation it inspired is even better!

I agree with Gawdess. I was going to say how much I was caught by the simplicity/complexity. It is perfect.

the leaf is perfect, and the punctured shadow beneath it is perfection, as well.
